Rules
- Electronic scoring will be used. Please arrive on time to enter all team members into the facility scoring system.
- If your team does not arrive on time the night of the tournament, your team will automatically forfeit and lose participation points.
- Teams will have a maximum of 1 hour with a 15-minute grace period to complete their two games with five players.
- A team roster must be reported to the Directors of Athletic Events one week prior before the bowling competition. This will be submitted in your UA Box Folder.
- Each organization may only enter one team; there is a maximum number of five players on each team. No substitutes or any other individuals many bowl unless they are a registered bowler and an alternate is needed due to an injury, no show, or other extenuating circumstance; In that instance, the organization must notify us of the substitution before beginning or continuing with bowling.
- The Homecoming Board asks that each team strive for equal representation of their organization(s) on their team, if their registered group consists of more than one student organization or group.
- Teams competing in the Crimson Division must have at least two females on the team. Teams on Tide Division may be composed with any combination of participants.
- Teams will play two games; the scores of each bowler will be added for a combined team score for each of the two games. The team with the highest total score of combined games will be the winner.
- No outside food or drinks are allowed during the tournament.
- Participants may not consume alcohol before or during the bowling tournament.
- Participants may not use electronic cigarettes or vape pens during the bowling tournament.
- Participants who act or smell intoxicated will be removed from the premises and their teams will be disqualified.
- No more than six spectators may watch each team compete and must have on a spectator wristband to be in the viewing area.
- Anyone who does not follow these rules may face disqualification. The UA Student Homecoming Board will be present at the event to assist with any discrepancies or violations.
