Rules
- No student organization names, Greek letters, or other identifying marks may be placed on windows. This includes organization logos, symbols, slogans, or identifying statements. If any of the above is seen on your window, your student organization will be disqualified.
- All Paint the Town Red Window Sketches must be submitted electronically via the approved window sketch submission method provided by Friday, October 2 at 11:59 p.m. CST.
- Paint The Town Red designs and UA Trademarks should not be used in conjunction with: alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, illegal and recreational drugs and drug paraphernalia, gambling products, firearms or other weapons, profanity, sexual acts and sexually oriented goods, statements impugning or making fun of other universities, racist, hateful, demeaning or degrading language or statements, inappropriate cultural references, national flags, political symbols, political issues and/or candidates, and/or any symbol or items with religious significance.
- Student organization or team representatives will come to the UA Student Center, Suite 3504 on Sunday, Oct. 18 between 7-9 p.m. or Monday, Oct. 18 between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. to pick up supplies and receive window assignments.
- Participants should only paint the sections of department or storefront windows that have been designated and found in their kit and at the location assigned. No other areas or surfaces should be painted.
- Supplies will not be provided until the sketch has been approved.
- Participants are limited to paint provided by the UA Student Homecoming Board. In the event of a shortage, participants may purchase supplies from the Board only at $10 per bottle if needed, while supplies last. Purchasing or using paint from another source leads to automatic disqualification.
- Organizations are prohibited from painting other storefronts that have not been assigned for the competition or for any type of reason or gain; Anyone found in violation will result in their team’s disqualification.
- All painting must be completed by 8 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 23.
- All paintings will be judged after 8 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 23.
Scoring
The following categories will be scored on a scale from one to ten, with one being “poor” and ten being “best.”
